After 39 years in insurance, our colleague Gary Taylor has decided to hang up his “insurance boots” to concentrate on life outside the world of insurance.
In a career that started as a commercial underwriter and surveyor at Provincial Insurance, Gary went on to work for New Zealand Insurance, in an underwriting role which was revolutionary at the time as the he was based in the brokers office. After mergers and acquisitions, that particular role become what was known as GA Bonus and latterly, Aviva bonus.
However, after a time with NZI, Gary returned to Provincial Insurance (now AXA) following AXA’s acquisition of the Prudential Direct commercial book as an AXA Direct Development Executive, where he worked for many years developing a book of extremely loyal clients. When AXA decided to make all of their direct sales consultants redundant, we were pleased that Gary chose to join MOFS, where he has spent the last 7 years helping us develop more of a presence in the SME space to add to our existing book of property investors insurance and related classes.
Naturally, we are tremendously grateful to Gary for the service he has given to MOFS and for building the account to its present level, thus giving us a platform to continue to develop our business in the future.
We wish him well in whatever he chooses to do in the future!
